Perfect SKIING DAY FOR FAMILIES

Here you find five reasons why your family skiing day in Hoch-Imst is sure to be a success ...

Read & head for the slopes

The gentle topography and the observable terrain make the Hoch-Imst ski area a perfect excursion destination for families, beginners and leisure skiers. The modern 10-seater gondolas offer top comfort and plenty of space – also for toboggans and prams. Having arrived at the top spot of the ski area, you can access the  SunOrama viewing platform. Afterwards you can make your own way down into the valley on nine varied kilometers of pistes between the altitude of 1,000 m and 2,100 m at your own pace, from laid-back to racy.

Night skiing, fun parkski school with ski rental ... what else could one ask for? No problem! Young and older adrenaline junkies get full value on the two spectacular natural toboggan runs in Hoch-Imst. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays we switch on the floodlight in the evenings. A clear run ahead until long after midnight. To recharge it is recommended to enjoy a break in the cosy UAlm  or in the quaint Latschenhütte.

FURTHER ACTIVITIES

After an uncomplicated journey by car or ski bus to get there, the Imster Bergbahnen will bring you comfortably and swiftly from 1,000 m to 2,100 m of altitude to the Alpjoch. In the ski area, a T-bar and practice lift ensure that you can make your turns in the snow on our nine varied and perfectly groomed kilometers of pistes without lift queues. With our piste map you won't get lost. While the youngsters make their first leisurely attempts on skis on the practice slope, the pros can choose a racier option to get down into the valley again: Our steepest piste - the “Pratz Bäume” – has a gradient of up to 60% and is only suitable for expert skiers. You will truly deserve your rest stop on one of the sun terraces at the mountain huts afterwards!
