The family-friendly Hoch-Imst ski area is valued by both, guests and locals. In particular the practice slope of the Imster Bergbahnen is a popular playground in the snow, relax zone for the parents and the perfect base for first playful attempts on skis or snowboard.

The large, flat and sunny practice slope with the platter lift next to the base station, is perfect for first attempts in the ski school's children’s park. In addition, big and small winter fans can also boldly speed down into the finish area on a toboggan or snow tube.

In the Hoch-Imst ski area the youngest children can learn skiing or snowboarding. In Bobo’s Kinderclub pedagogically trained skiing instructors will introduce your offspring step-by-step to the perfect technique: plenty of space for play and animation – stress and pressure to perform are unheard of!
The flat sunny slope with baby lift and the many funny figures and obstacles, offers perfect conditions for children’s ski courses in Hoch-Imst. Sometimes the colourful bird Albin, the Imster Bergbahnen's mascot, also provides for fun and entertainment.
TIP During a specified period, ski courses for guest children are free of charge.

FrEE children's ski courses

Skiing does not always have to be expensive: As part of the free children's skiing weeks, Imst Tourism offers free skiing courses for all children from the age of 3 to the age of 6.

THERE IS EVEN MORE TO IT

In addition to the practice lift and slope, the Hoch-Imst ski area offers a particularily varied program for all winter sports fans: While the little ones start their promising ski careers with all-round care, the parents enjoy carefree turns in the snow or relax on one of the surrounding sun terraces. Off the tracks, the two natural toboggan runs, which offer a sweeping descent into the valley are a delight. Every Wednesday and on some Saturdays also at night.
